(Cleveland Heights) - There are reports the four suspects charged in the robbery and murder of Cleveland Heights pub owner Jim Brennan have made full confessions.
Police charged four men in the Monday murder of Brennan, the popular owner of Brennan's Colony Tavern on Lee at Silsby Roads.
Cleveland Heights detectives say Brandon Jones, Devon Turner, Paul Turner and Derian Jones have been charged with aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.
The four are due in court next week.
Brennan was laid to rest today at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. Hundreds attended his funeral at Gesu Church in University Heights.
Earlier police announced that they had five suspects in custody. Brennan was shot multiple times during an attempted robbery at his restaurant. He later died at Metro Health Medical Center.
The suspects range in the age of 20 to 23 years old and were apprehended at different times between Monday night and Wednesday. All five are Cleveland residents.
The investigation continues with involvement from the FBI, Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority, Cleveland Police, Shaker Heights Police and additional agencies.
