(Cleveland) - Cleveland Police have arrested one of their own. Officer Leonard Moore was taken into custody Monday and charged with obstruction of justice, a third degree felony.
Moore is accused of helping a female suspect flee the scene of a crime where a felonious assault took place. It happened about 12:30 Monday morning.
Moore is assigned to Cleveland's third district. He's been on the police department since 1992.
Officer Moore has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of the case. He will receive a hearing before Cleveland Safety Director Martin Flask.
