Arson determined to be the cause of a fatal Toledo fire.

(Toledo) On Sunday, January 26th,  the Toledo Fire Department responded to an apartment fire at 528 Magnolia.

Firefighters Stephen Machcinski and James Dickman were killed while fighting the fire.  An investigation team consisting of: the Toledo Fire Department; the Toledo Police Department; the State Fire Marshal; the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives and the Federal Bureau of Investigation began investigating the fire.

The investigation revealed that Ray Abou-Arab entered the garage and used an ignitable liquid to start the fire.

On Friday, at approximately 3:18pm Ray Abou-Arab was arrested and booked into the Lucas County Jail.
