Scotty McCreery is trying to balance being a country mega star and a student at North Carolina State University. He is just finishing up his first semester being a freshman and trying to promote his Christmas Album.
As if it wasn't hard enough to be a country star, Scotty McCreery is trying to balance that with being a student at North Carolina State University.
"I've been studying non-stop. But it was a lot tougher than I was anticipating going into it," Scotty tells Country Weekly. "When I was doing this in high school, balancing it all was nothing. But college was defintely a huge step. I've had to learn how to study again." -Scotty McCreery
The American Idol winner admits that he does get asked alot for autographs. Whoever the girls are that sit next to him in class are pretty lucky!!
"I'll never be the normal college kid," he says. It's not unusual for him to be approached by fans on campus who want an autograph a photo or to just say hi, and he's happy to oblige. "They've been great to me the last year or two. . . . It's actually a pretty cool thing for me." - Scotty McCreery
