By now, the whole city of Cleveland knows that the Brownies will no longer be playing on the field called "Browns Stadium". As of yesterday, the name was changed. Akron-based FirstEnergy Corp bought the naming rights for the stadium. It will be called "FirstEnergy Stadium". Financial terms nor the length of the deal will not be released at the request of FirstEnergy. Although in an interview, FirstEnergy President and Chief Executive Officer Tony Alexander said it was a multiyear deal and would be paid in installments.

The deal includes an illuminated FirstEnergy Stadium signs on the exterior and interior that will be finished in April along will the logos on game tickets and promotional materials.
