Country star George Strait will receive the Career Achievement Award from Country Radio Broadcasters on Tuesday, February 26th.
Strait is being awarded because he has made significant contribution to the development and promotion of country music and radio.
CRS President, Mike Culotta, says “George Strait has done a superb job promoting country music and country radio over the years." He went on to say, "His dedication to the format and on-going contribution to the industry as a whole make him the perfect recipient for this award."
Past winners include: Brooks and Dunn, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Dolly Parton, and Reba McEntire.
