David Letterman finds it amazing that all his bands that perform on hi show have their own drum set.
As we all know Brad Paisley is one of the biggest pranksters around. But on this tour he decided to change things up a little bit and be a little nicer. He has been taking his openig acts to go-carts and to go see movies before they premiere to the public. He just wants to make sure that Lee Brice and Chris Young have a good time on the tour. Brad remembers when he was the opening act and how the headliners use to treat him very well. Mr. Paisley just wants to make sure everyone has a good experience and is comfortable and having fun. He also went on to say that this isn't a sick plan to try to trick everyone and play a nasty prank on them. See Brad isn't such a bad guy after all, he just likes to have a little bit of fun.
Darius Rucker got his biggest honor yet. Charleston, South Carolina just named the street right behind the North Charleston Coliseum, where Darius has played so many times, after Darius Rucker himself. He is absolutely blown away by this honor. The city commision had no problem accepting this name change, which got changed on Monday.
"It's massive. It's incredible," Darius said. "I'm totally over the moon about the whole thing.
"I do what I do because I love Charleston. I'm not trying to get any honors or anything. It's because I love the city so much. It's just amazing to be recognized like that."
As we all know the fourth of July is right around the corner. Typically theres nothing to watch on television that day because most people are out grilling burgers and hot dogs. Then at night time they are blowing off fireworks or watching them. So this year, MTV, CMT and VH1 thought they would collaborate and put on their first ever Music Independence Day concert. It will be broadcast across all three stations. They are doing this to cross all types of genres of music, to let people experience music they usually don't listen to and to make sure everyone has great music to listen to on the fourth of July. The big event starts at 6 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
